Special value to students with English as an additional language

Here you will find SPCA’s growing collection of bilingual glossaries. Our bilingual glossaries list terms commonly found throughout SPCA’s teaching and learning resources with the definitions for these terms alongside them. We hope our bilingual glossaries will be of special value to students with English as an additional language.

Students can use the bilingual glossaries to support their comprehension of SPCA’s teaching and learning resource content, to assist their learning of other languages and to help them translate resources they have created for their own communities.

SPCA is extremely grateful for the generosity, time and work people have donated in translating these word banks for use in New Zealand classrooms.
