Our SPCA Treat Week lessons have a different focus to other resources on the Teachers' Portal as they do not focus on animal welfare or responsible animal guardianship. Instead, they focus on one of SPCA's important annual fundraising events.

When introducing SPCA Treat Week to you students, we encourage you to discuss the work of SPCA and explain why, as a charity, SPCA needs to carry out fundraising events to raise much needed funds to enable them to continue doing the critical work they do in your community. This will help students develop a greater understanding of SPCA and how important and appreciated their contribution to this event is.
